The article by Search Engine Land that Matt had tweeted out, goes into details about the 2014 Google Panda Update. This article confirms that Google has indeed released a new update to their Payday Loan Algorithm. This announcement came to no utter shock of worldwide SEO's since there had been a great amount of rumors and signals that an update was coming, the only thing not known that was making these specialists anxious was what the update was going to target. Here's what you need to know about this update.
The update to Google's Panda Algorithm targets "very spammy queries" and is an update to Googles Payday Loan Algorithm that was launched just about a year ago on June 11, 2013. This update has an international impact and it affects different languages to different degrees but only affects English queries by about 0.2% to a comprehensible degree. Below is a video of Matt Cutts of Google talking about the update back when it was initially release in 2013 and what to expect from this update.
